Really, this comic came from my "adventures" with my imaginary friends when I was a young girl...haha... See, I have a really over-reactive imagination and at that age I had nowhere to put it. So every night before I went to bed, there would be an hour where I would pretend to interact with my favorite characters from a movie or TV show. The biggest one I used was Sailor Moon, and since I didn't treat these characters as real people (not your typical "imaginary friends"), I didn't see the point in stopping when I got older (this probably continued until I was 16 or so). Lord of the Rings was the next big one that I used since there was a lot of room for side-stories. Understand that I wouldn't just walk through the movie as Frodo or whatnot. Usually, there was no Frodo or Sam, the less characters the less I had to worry about accounting for. When I acted out LOTR, I based myself off a role play character I used in MSN chat rooms before they got perverted and stupid. That character, Elendil Megiltura (a girl), was really not original, but parts of it I enjoyed. Basically, Elendil's parents were murdered, she was raised by Elrond and his wife, they found out she had a "second ring" and sent her into hiding with the hobbits, she found out she was related to both Saroun and the original Elendil (who was a guy). Oh yeah, the idea that I could have one boyfriend from every dimension came from my "adventures" as well. I liked at least one guy from every show I watched. Lord of the Rings, it was Aragorn (it had to be because Legolas was my Step-brother after we found out Thranduil (his dad) was my parental guardian). Sailor Moon it was Mamoru, of course. Good times, good times So yeah, the main character is based off an idea of my own "adventures", thus basing her off of me... but I think every artist puts their own personality into the characters they create. Enjoy. And I hope I didn't freak you out. |
